Geometric Snow Art

Simon Beck is a French artist who sometimes spends days trudging around frozen lakes in snowshoes. The end product are these creations: Geometric, seemingly three-dimensional designs derived from complex mathematical relationships. It’s a short-lived medium, often covered in a single night by new snowfall.

8 Hours Sleep is Unnatural: Historical Documents & Health Reports

BBC News released a story today acknowledging that 8 hours of continuous sleep is not natural for humans. Insomniacs that wake in the middle of the night are simply trying to return to their body’s natural rhythm. I am thinking of going back to the old (and correct) way of sleeping in hopes of it reducing anxiety and health risks. Here’s the article in full. It makes for a VERY interesting read. I highly recommend reading the whole lot.
